Important

What is it with kids and remotes? I'm not going to say any names, but someone let the kid sneak off with it and it disappeared for a few days. Once I found it again, the battery cover latch was broken. So I jammed a piece of folded paper in the slot to keep tension on the cover. Worked like a charm. That is, until another someone let him sneak off with it again and lost the cover. So for a few days I was feeling batteries on the underside. Until this morning I find it and the original someone let him sneak off with it again last night and lost the batteries.

I am a stringent guardian of the remote when I'm on watch. Others, not so much.

I just replaced all 3 directv remotes. One of them I broke, one of them quit working on it's own and the other was destroyed by the boys over the last 3 years.

Amazon had them for 5 bucks.

red 'you learn it's not worth the stress' heep

Firestone's Roadside Service: Better than AAA because she can get a ride from someone else, continue on her merry way to go have a good time, come home later to her vehicle ready to drive and its totally free.:rattle:

At that price, I can stock up!

if you stock up enough, you will always be able to find one.

This is how I ended up with like 8 tape measures. For a while I kept losing them, and I was in a hurry to get the roof done so I'd pick up another on my daily pilgrimage to home depot. I have now found most of them, and leave them scattered around the house so it only takes me 30 seconds or so to find one no matter where I am.

It was a handful for sure. Had a ridiculous amount of slop in the wheel. He is still working out some bugs in it but the car is in fantastic shape.

Went to Max-bilt after the MN State Fair yesterday... Hung out for a while for 'MaxFest' and decided that regardless of the decision to keep using it as a DD or not, the Jeep will be going under major work, again, this winter over 'holiday break' at school...

If I centered myself on the log properly, I would have made it to the top easy...
