Important

Who is in favor of a nice grain walnut on a gun vs the black composite look. I'm talking hunting rifles & target rifles, not M4 or AR style rifles?

I would much rather own rifle with a nice wood stock. Seems that gone are the days of designs on barrels and stocks to enhance the looks of the piece. Now it's all about "Functionality". There is no reason in the world a gun can't be both nice to look at AND lethal.

Agreed

NOt really sure if the Savage or Marlin are real wood but the Mosin is solid wood. If you can't shoot or stab someone with it you can sure as hell beat them with it! :D

Me... I'd much rather have a nice looking wood grain stock than yet another plastic princess gun.

Dan's new pump brings teh sessy.

Gays are alright in my book. I just can't stand the ambiguous folk who can't decide what sex they want to be. And that has nothing to do with their orientation, just their appearance. That stuff's confusing.

Chik Fil A should have kept their personal views out of the business, but still had them all the same and run their business as they see fit.

I prefer the composite stocks because I hate to ding up a beautiful wood stock.

And Mike, if you don't get text messages, you didn't get my text that said to check out Stockysstocks.com for your 10/22.

Edit: Good night!

My wife watches some seriously retarded poop on TV.

But she Prolly thinks the shows I like are retarded too.

Composite stocks are not affected as much by the weather. And pretty wood is fine until you use it and it gets scratched. I have an HS composite and I like using it a lot more then the gun built from a $500 chunk of bubinga...

ha...clearly none of you are waterfowl hunters. pretty stocks and forearms don't last long in my kind of hunting conditions. both of my 12 gauges are all composite all the way. i'll never own another wood gun for duck hunting.

as for the chick fil a issue...in my line of work, most of the people i work with are gay men and women. it didn't take me long to realize people are just people regardless of race, creed, sexual orientation or age. i do have an issue with companies that make corporate donations to organizations that promote hate. that means that part of the money i spend with them goes to fund hatred in this country and quite honestly there is enough stupidity already in this world on both sides. it drives me nuts when people lose sight of the real issues at stake and turn issues like this into a them vs us issue. same bs people resort to in polotics. nothing gets resolved in this world without people understanding each other and working together...period.

Great gun night on T.V. last night. Cajun Pawn pimped out a M4 for resale. American Guns did an AR from scratch, even CNC'ed their own receivers.

which one of you is it?

Oh dear god.... that's gotta be a People of Walmart!

I sure hope so Dan, I am so sick of breaking shafts. I am just worried about the u-joints with only a clearance of .002" for the joint and bearing, as I wheel in more wet environments than I do in dry. Just need to keep them greased per the instructions and hopefully they stay good. I plan on taking them apart every month or so depending on the wheeling to clean them up.
