Important

Went and had our will established this afternoon and are setting up a family trust. It is not an overly fun thing to do, but I know that my kid and our family farm legacy will carry on for another generation. Counting down the time until we are debt free. Selling the Jeep was going to fund a new boat but reality set in that I could only cash purchase a 12K boat or less and I really wanted something nicer then that, so we used the Jeep funds to help pay off our financial aid (2 bach and a masters is not cheap!). So, in less then 4 years we are planning on being debt free....as long as I dont buy any more land :farmer:

I need to apologize to the MWC membershipfor getting bent out of shape last week, sandy vag, butt hurt, etc etc, truth is it was blown out of proportion. I will still be around.......I wont leave that easily.

This is what I like to hear. All points, really.

Man, we ain't seen shit.

So I was sanding mud at my house today. Got sand/sweat in my eye. So I head off to the spigot to wash off and rinse my eyes. Looking down blinking trying to flush it a bit. Look up just in time to catch my clothsline in my left eyeball. Right between the lids. That stung a bit.

In other news. The alternator on the jeep is dying a slow death. Headlights on only and its just charging at 12V. Blower on high, brights on, fans over-road and radio on it really hates its life. But for 250000 miles I cant complain.

Ive contemplated getting a tow vehicle and trailer but it can wait. I kind of like the drive, wheel, Drive it home aspect still.

Got off work today & the Grand Cherokee wouldn't start. I was in a hurry to get to the credit union to cash my payroll check, so I had to just leave it and catch a ride from a co-worker. Smelled like it was flooded, hopefully it will start right up after sitting all night. God I fricking hate that V-8, I regret buying it everytime I pull up to the pump, but the price was right. I just wish it had a 4.0.

I hate it until I roll into the loud pedal :D

When I drive my dads truck, I try to keep out of the loud pedal (01 1500 Ram Quad cab with the 318 with 90k on it). It sounds cool, but man, that thing sucks the gas.

It costs me @ $500 to fill my tractor and I get @ 1mpg when it is under full load n throttle. One of the fields I farm is exactly 1 mile long so I can count the gallons by the #of passes I make....been farming it long enough that I know where to park the fuel trailer. :D

Oddly enough, Tyler.... I'm visiting the farm where I grew up. And it'll probably die with my brother, neither of his kids are interested in taking it up. Yes, we're all good with it. It's a very good thing that you're planning ahead.
