Important

Drove the jeep around Woodward Ave tonight. Felt good driving the XJ.

Only a few issues. Jeep wouldnt start after it was hot until it cooled way down. Driver's side rear rotor was smoking. Looks like some gear lube was spilling out of the axle housing into the rotor. Also a possible brake drag on that side.

She ran a little hot tonight as well. But not too bad.

Overall not too shabby for the first run. 40s and 4.10s aren't horrible, but can't wait to get 5.38s in there though.

Got the steering setup installed up at Max-Bilt today. Came from a 94 ZJ with the 5.2. TREs were all good, but I did swap my steering stabilizer over, for what its worth... Also torched off the lower control arm mounts. I do need to get my dropped pitman arm on one of these days...

On a side note, in the rush to get back in time for work, I drove approx 70miles home today with so much toe in the steering the tires were squealing and I could visibly see the worn spots when I got back... :S Lesson learned: check toe before driving next time...

if Sean "do's" a tree in the woods and no one is around does it yell RAPE!

what up all...back in grand island nebraska after a very short time in kc. got to eat at chubbys diner, but outside of being at the uptown theatre...thats about all i got to do. the uptown is a neat old place, very dark, but neat. i love old theatres, so it was probably cooler to me than anyone else. it was also a good sounding room...brandi carlisle's engineer was pretty good too which helps a lot. all in all, the bands were nice and it was an easy day minus a few issues. tommy james...and the 5th dimension tonight. probably going to be a boring one for me. i think tommy james is the dude that wrote the hanky panky...but thats about all i know. cant wait for a few r and r days next week

There was a rimfire challenge at the conservation club near me today. I volunteered to help set it up, but didn't plan on participating because after hearing all the targets (20-40) and only having one magazine. After helping set it up, someone had an extra rifle and magazines. I probably ended up close to last, but it was fun. The gun I shot was a Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22.

Chubbys is a shadow of what it used to be. And the uptown is a great place to see a show. Next time your in KC drop me a line. I can find you much better to eat.
