Important

The WJ motors seem to be golden i got a quote for 1600 and 1800 used. that is why i will prolly run the wife's till it locks up.

the blocks are all the same right?
accessory mount bosses on a WJ 4.0 are different along with the motor mount bosses. Basically, don't bother.

They are golden because there are still WJs running around with owners that bend over for shops instead of doing their own work.

they get a little lopey with a few dead cylinders... ask me how I know :gee:

well i emailed the guy when i thought it was probably a xj/zj motor and offered him $100 for it. like i said, he told me he had offers of $500 for it...yet for some reason he emailed me back an hour ago and told me that he would deliver it to my front door for $400 if i want it. i told him that it wouldn't even fit with out motor mount and accessory modification so it wasn't worth my time and my $100 was actually too high in that case. pretty sure he won't like my response, but oh well :)

Do you need one? I have extras.

i don't "need" one...but i do want to have one ready in case mine ever lets go...mine could go another 200k, but it never hurts to be prepared. i've also contemplated building a stroker. if im going to rebuild a motor, i may as well stroke it too.

Next time you're up this way and have a day off, let me know, Sam's in Worcester has you-pull motors for $99 each. I have a cordless sawzall and angle grinder for a reason.

found my front hubs were seized together tonight...

dang mission impossible water...

got this far
