For me I have always been under the mindset that if you arent 10-15 minutes early, you're late. But around here especially for meetings, walking in 5 to 10 minutes late is common. I understand that people have meetings back to back and the building is huge, but when you call into a conference call that you can reach via cell phone ten minutes late. it's a little ridiculous.
 
A couple years ago, I believe in a "What I need to do before WF" thread, I had said something along the lines of...

-All my life I've lived by the attitude that if I'm 5 minutes early, I'm on time. Since I've owned a Jeep I've found that if I'm 2 weeks late, I'm on schedule.
 
Brew supplies showed up today, kind of expected it as it only came from about 3hrs away...

Tomorrow the fun begins!

The WJ motors seem to be golden i got a quote for 1600 and 1800 used. that is why i will prolly run the wife's till it locks up.



the blocks are all the same right?

How is a motor in great condition if it has two blown pistons???

When its a GM 2.8, I think they come like that from the factory.
 
If the company coffee is not up to snuff, I just go to a local place and get a cup....then I charge the company for it. Of course it is the least they can do.....I have not been late since I started.

The 2.8 isn't a bad little engine. It's just got no balls and the one you had wasn't maintained well enough. I had one in my Beretta GT. Thing would cook, really. Thing ran like a top all the way until the guy I sold it to cooked the tranny dry. He's one of those guys that puts gas in and waits for a light to come on for anything else.

Ive never blamed being late on my alarm clock. If it doesnt go off, its my fault. Ive been late to my current job once due to me forgetting to set the alarm. Woke up at 745, Had to be at work at 8 and work is 45 min away.

well i emailed the guy when i thought it was probably a xj/zj motor and offered him $100 for it. like i said, he told me he had offers of $500 for it...yet for some reason he emailed me back an hour ago and told me that he would deliver it to my front door for $400 if i want it. i told him that it wouldn't even fit with out motor mount and accessory modification so it wasn't worth my time and my $100 was actually too high in that case. pretty sure he won't like my response, but oh well :)
