BABY KILLER!!!
how much would you spend on a 2 post lift??? i saw one on clist today for $1000
its only a 7k lift, but it was in great shape...got me thinking...like a lot. the subaru is a pain in the ass to get under, and it would be awesome for working on the j10 when it comes time...
worth it???
I always turned to the next bolt by goosing the starter (wheels chocked, neutral/park, transfer case in neutral, etc) with a wrench across the solenoid+power studs. Probably not the best idea, but it works quite nicely. Mark each bolt with a paint pen after you torque it so you can tell which you haven't done yet.
link doesn't work for me... I don't believe in flexplates anymore though, if I have problems with them, I do a flexplate/trans cooler delete and put a flywheel based unit in instead.Or you can get the proper flexplate tool from the parts store.

don't wait that long, unless you like holes in your bellhousing and possibly a trashed starter and CPS.Good to know. I suppose I'll crawl under there sometime when I have the gumption. So...when they fall out.
