Important

Had one of those at the Jeep Dealer I worked for a while back. Kid said he was turning around in the street and instead of 3 point turning it he jumped the curb. There was more damage to the left front of the axle than you see in a 35mph+ crash.

There once was a mythical man who, they say, used to lurk in the inky dark shadows of these here forums.
He has left some tidbits of advice here and there as evidence of his long forgotten existence.
I have dug up a few,

Remember that you have an offset pumpkin, so your measurements have to come from the outside when setting your perches.

I rolled mine under the jeep, bolted the perches down to the leaf springs and measured from the axle ends to get it centered. Then I put the weight of the jeep on it, rotated the pinion up until it pointed at the transfer case and tack welded the perches to the tubes. Disassemble and weld the perches on.

It probably wasn't the most scientific, but it got me close enough. The perches are still on that axle under Nate's heep.

If you don't have an SYE, you're going to want to match the pinion angle to the driveshaft angle and not just point it at the transfer case.

Does it have a diesel in it and 4 doors?

Why yes it does :patriot:

The big black bus is now parked at my house. It was good to see Mark today and check in on WF Dog. I would have tried to set up a small M&G but this was an on-the-fly thing. We waved at Hale's house and JIM's house going both directions :D
