got the motivation kicking in for the new build...JR is gonna be here in a bit and we are going over to the farm where my donor truck is and draggin that ol' girl to my shop and cutting out the axles. Gonna do it all on the trailer, jack it up and cut the axles out and then sit it back down and off to the scrap yard to get the rest of my money out of it.

Where in Northern WI are you? My grandma lives a little north of Antigo and has lost power like 10 times this summer. I have never seen so many downed tree up there in my life..

I'm in Athelstane, WI. My parents are 1/2 mile north of Wausaukee, WI. I think Antigo was not hit.
 
Just finished moving myself back into my room at Purdue. I took my last semester at Ivy tech due to low grades, so hopefully I can keep my act together this year.

yeah, im fine now. i hit the bottle pretty early this morning. when all you have is naxja and a bottle of tequila for a few days by yoursself, you tend to start early.
 
Dad and my brother when to pick up my new boat today! So I guess I'm out Samset...found a nice diamond in the rough by my parents. some old guy who was getting too old to use it anymore. he took it to the marina and they told him they would price it for $1500 but were only going to give him $300 for it. So he sold it to me for $450...nice boat and its a 16 footer. The XJ build is going to be on hold for a month or so while i paint my boat and put a nice duck blind on it
 
Fishing today. They weren't biting. Came home and roasted some corn and grilled some steaks with some whiskey sours to wash it all down. I love summer. Did notice the bearing in the alternator is going out. I hope it's that and not the A/c compressor.
 
Picking a pizza up from a place about 45 mins from my house but tis worth the drive

I've got one going out as well... Sounds like supercharger whine at 3800 rpm and above, below that it's not noticeable at all.
