random thought...

if stock XJ's with say 235/75/15 tires use space saver spares

than i should be able to put a 235/75/15 in my truck as a space saver for my 33's

got to fit the grocery's some how

Yea, you just need something that gets you safely to the tire shop.
your "supposed" to go get a new tire immediately after changing the flat.
(or get it fixed)

That works only if you don't have a locker or limited-slip.

went to the RV place today and picked up the RV to 110 plug adapters, a new sink water pump and the fittings and regulator for the propane since I scavenged the stock one to rig my BBQ grill at WF this year. That was well over $100 trip....now off to the farm supply store to get some more lights to finish up the gooseneck project.

I spent all yesterday afternoon working on Travis' XJ.
He told me he had to go to Camp Atterbury south of Indy.
New brakes, sway bar links, rotated tires, bled all of the brakes, fixed the window that wouldn't go up and or down, and a good old once over.
with 200,300 miles on it, it needs a prayer more than anything.

The is going through Kokomo for a family reunion first, any one in the area, please stand by in case we need help.....

Thanks, Sean

No shit, is he gonna be stationed there? Atterbury is just north(like 5 miles) of my house. Let me know if he needs anything.

Filled the motorhome, filled the dd xj, a case of beer and a tin of chew. There's where the first $300 went...

I cringed filling the uhaul.

I also hated the $100 limits at the pump. WTF, fuel is nearly $4 a gallon and you're going to make the limit $100?

87 "$100 is half a tank' manche

Going there for a month of training, some super secret army stuff...

If he needs anything, I have tools and a driveway he can use! I can also show him where all the good eatin' is around here.

Space truckin'. Yup, that's what we need. Or, rather, have needed since the late 60's.

Working for a farm and barn company up here this summer... Of the 106 automotive techs in the company, I'm ranked #62... I haven't even been there a month.

He will need more than just tools and a driveway, if you know what I am saying.....

Well, I got him covered on the tools and driveway front, he's on his own for the rest..................:D
