no...instructions please? I really don't have to get around filters because most of what I do isn't blocked...until now...

This is what I get now:

I am the least of their concerns. I'd bet if I asked I could probably get an all access pass incase I need to use interweb that's off-limits for an investigation...ie followup on facebook or myspace...and I might ask if it comes down to it...

I don't go places beyond jeep boards and email and photobucket...

If you want to be really sneaky you can use RDP to terminal into your machine at home, then technically you're not bringing anything into their network, you're just looking at the screen image of what your home machine is displaying on your network.......


Otherwise you could try choosing aother proxy to route your traffic through, but it's liekely that your IT people have got all HTTP traffic locked down and it will set off red flags for the thought police.

Easiest way for you to do RDP is through windows lie mesh

that is if you've got Win vista/7 at home.

Or you could do the free logmein thing

then as long as you can get to the logmein site you can access your home PC, providing they've not disallowed the Activex controls. But you could surf using your smart phone in combination wiht your home PC.

Yup, consider that a screening.

Lots of folks get skin cancer, most is caught as a lesion, the area removed and life goes on. At least it's easy to treat if you don't let it slide.

I know several people with various forms of cancer, from brain to skin. All of them are doing just fine now.

and to tyler (i think it is? im too lazy to go back and check for your username), the sooner you get it checked out the less invasive any needed procedure will be. but im sure your aware of that.

In your original post the URL was actually to Google, redirecting you to Photobucket. They do that on search result pages so they can see which links are more popular than others. Perhaps the second time you went right to Photobucket's website and found it there? A lot of search filters block the Google-tracking stuff along with a bunch of ads... which is kind of nice. Just noticed that the URL started with Google, figured that might causing the problem.


Let us know what you find out Tyler. I know you spend a lot of time outdoors but I bet you found it early on. It will probably turn out to be something minor, but of course as everyone else has said, no harm in getting it checked out by a real professional. Let us know more as soon as you know, I'm sure a lot of us here have it on our minds.
 
Dan, you should have some pretty good morel grounds right there in mid Michigan. Not in yards, either, look in hard wood lots.

I agree. The locals here in Southern Indiana all talk about Michigan being the mecca of shroom hunting.
