does anyone make a heavier duty flex plate for the 4.0 to aw4?

I cracked the one in the xjpopcan buggy years ago wheelin it...and I am having the same symptoms and think that the one in the baby jeep is cracked. I have another stock one laying in the garage...but was wondering if anyone made a good aftermarket one that was stronger...I really hate pulling motors or transmissions just for flex plates...

Eh, i didn't want to risk it! :D I'm sure not all of it was under water but the ruts were and I know they get a little deep in some places.

What are these symptoms you speak of?

he needs that for his deal. i have three or four under the bench from stripping jeeps...hell i bought a new one for the popcan back in the day and it wasn't all that much...the cheapness could weld it and reinstall...i was looking for an upgrade.

almost sounds like bearing noise at idle. a bad rattle. goes away when you give it a bit of gas. i've been running it this way for over a year...at some point I'm going to have to address it. I need to pull the tcase anyways and replace the housing as its cracked so one of these days...

Shoot, something rattles pretty good occasionally at idle with my foot on the brake. I haven't gotten anybody to sit inside so I can listen outside. It's either my exhaust or that...

It's only left me stranded once officially now (CamPS)

Needs very soon:
Starter
NSS
Wiper motor
Kill some rusty crud that is starting to pop up

I've been told it blows a little smoke under WOT.

222k and it's still strong for the most part.

The Cutlass needs stuff too, mostly finishing details though it'd be nice to drop a finished engine in it this summer.

What to do.
 
local doc seems to think I have skin cancer, I am scheduling an appointment with a dermatologist for a second opinion. Has me a bit concerned.
 
Don't mess around!
Get some where high tech, now!
Get to a University Medical Center, or a teaching hospital, don't mess around with the local doctors.
If you have Melanoma, it needs to be treated ASAP!
In 2003, I was diagnosed with Malignant Melanoma, it would have been a death sentence 5 years prior, but great strides have been made in cancer treatment.
I am now 9 years out, and all is well!

Thanks for the call this morning bro, I appreciate it. I will keep ya in the loop with my findings as soon as I know something myself. The University can get me on Monday the 16th at the earliest, so I am going then. My local doctor is about a step below a bad vetinary, so I am hoping for the best. Just a bit unsettling..I am sure you can relate.

this man knows WTF he's talking about. (did I just agree with Sean??)

seriously, my FIL is dealing with cancer right now. Things are going pretty well, the big clinics can deal with it much better than any local doctor or hospital. They've got machines at the Cleveland Clinic that cost more than my local hospitals entire operating budget for a year.
