Important

exactly what Jeff said. I know you boys are not poster children for fitness weekley (nor am I) and I had an episode like that a few years back and it was a good thing that I went to the Dr. b/c they were able to get me back on track. And no, it was not herpes....that time.

I also has a dizzy spell a while back and it was just as minor as a bad inner ear infection, but still nothing to let go unattended, especially when you are driving and others lives are at stake as well as your own. Get to the doc bro, we would hate to see something bad happen to you.

hay jeep fans, this morning was a rough one. on my way into work while driving i suddenly got really dizzy, the road was moving in front of my eyes, for whatever reason i could not focus. traveling 75mph in the rain this was not good. i quickly pulled over to try and figure myself out but by that time all was ok. i nervously continued my drive in to work and it did not happen again. though im still a lil sick to my stomach about what could have happened this morning to myself, and drivers around me.

Yesterday I bought a Yamaha RX-V667 receiver to replace my 1970's one.
7.1 Surround sound, 10,000,000,000 inputs and outputs.
Today I am taking it back, it is either broken, or it is too complicated to set up.
Either way, I have no use for it.......

you know what I always say, anything over 9,999,999,999 is simply just a waste.

Well... piss. I lost out on the new house I was trying to buy. They got another offer without a contingency and I couldn't sell mine fast enough to make it happen. There is basically nothing else for sale around here that I find worth buying, so back to the old house I go. I'll probably have to park cars in the yard (not on blocks) but at least I'll free up a lot of time and money and be able to get back into wrenching and wheeling!

Most point & shoots can take a shot like that. Just depends on the operator and their knowledge of how to set up a shot.

yep, I took several pictures like that in Tellico of the waterfalls. Just set the exposure manual and extend it's length a little bit. Make sure yo've got the camera steadied on something so the static parts of the landscape don't end up blurry.

MAKE IT RAIN!!!!! I am ready for some wheeling!

Josh, you are in prime paddling country, the Menominee River, Brule, and the Wolf River are all very close to you....
Yeah, the Oconto River and Fox River are close too. I found a group of folks from Appleton called the Fox Valley Yakkers that I joined up with. They're already doing trips up the Fox and out onto the bay. I don't have a wetsuit though. I'll be waiting for the 70's and up.

it could have been anything really... from low blood sugar for the morning to a brain tumor. (not that i wish that upon anyone) thats why regular check ups are important.

Nice, I can't wait for warmer weather so I can paddle
X2
Planned on a little of everything on our trip to Moab last year:

We were going to do an unsupported trip down the Colorado through Canyonlands NP.
Unfortunately the weather changed to low forties and rain expected all week so we had to call off the paddling.

A guy at work in his 50s just recently was dianoised with brain cancer and given 1 to 2 years to live...he's a fighter, I think he'll beat it and out live the predictions...

mac 'cancer sucks' gyvr

A positive mental outlook goes a long way there.

A good friend of the family (my parents' maid of honor 60 years ago,) was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer around 2004 or 2005, and given less than a year. She made it to 2009, and never, ever, gave up.

gf and i are planning a wedding in 6 months, reason being is she wants her grandma who help raise her to be there more than anyone. grandma has been fighting cancer for a few years. doctor gave her 2 years about 4 years ago. check up today doc says if you make our next appointment in 2 months ill be surprised. gf is really upset, already planning on what she can do at the wedding in memory for her.
my sympathetic words say shes a fighter and a strong woman, your giving her something to live and fight for and she will make it. in reality im thinking, its never good when the doctor dose not think you will make it 2 more months.

Damn dude, thats no good. Cancer took my grandpa last year after a 4 year fight. Good luck to you two in the future.

I know a family friend who got married real quick. Her dad had terminal brain cancer. They were shooting for a June wedding, it was an May wedding planed in four weeks. Since they couldn't afford a photographer, I got to do it. This was the one photo that I love and hate at the same time.

Sadly, it was two weeks after the wedding that he passed.

Well one of the kittys is making his last trip to the vet tomorrow. I don't know what makes me feel worse, Lil Guy as sick as he is and how bad he looks or telling my kids they we have to put him down.

RIP Lil Guy... May the fingers of a thousand smokers be there waiting for you when you get there.

Parakeet

We're going to have to do the same soon with one of our cats as well. She's losing a battle with a sudden onset of liver disease. Sucks because my oldest is really attached to her.

ive been plotting the death of our cats. we got 2 cats and they are worthless.

normally i wouldnt mind a cat or two but these cats are the worst. first off, they get into the garage and crap in the oil dry, then they crap on my snap on tool box. but the worst... they ruined the paint on my 72 duster by climbing up the side and sliding down it. the last straw was the time dad left the window cracked when he moved the car and they crapped in the seats. im not too cruel of a person when it comes to animals but THESE CATS HAVE TO DIE.

ive been thinking of the perfect way to make it look like an accident.

disco "well dad, looks like both cats committed suicide today" steve
