Started looking into houses in the area for sale in my price range and I am actually shocked at how many are in my price range that are not complete dumps. Found a couple i'm interested in just waiting on my cousins wife to get back to work after giving birth a couple weeks ago and I will start getting with her about what i need to do. If I can get a decent rate I may have plenty of money to still finish my Jeep! Starting to sound better and better knowing i won't have a stupid ass roommate in the very near future!

Gotta be deals in real estate. The house that my g/f & I bought 2 years ago has dropped by over 15% since we bought it, it's now valued at less than what we paid.

Be careful of foreclosures. There's a lot of risk in them.

Yeah I plan on staying away from those, especially after our big flood in 08. Gonna have one hell of an inspection done on what ever place i decide I want!

now I can not say the same thing about the landscape at Walmart :doh: a jackass cut me off short and I had to take the curb and the GN took out some landscape, a small tree and drug dirt out into the street...it was a fiasco.

FTR, I actually like Azteks for the functionality (cargo space, camping, MPG!). I know some people don't like the design. I do not like this one though.

And on a happy note. The XJ runs again. Now to get the tires mounted, leaky injectory dry, fan shroud, and a couple other things and I'll be wheeling in two weeks.

So did everyone else! That's why they axed them and used the platform for the Buick Rendezvous.......also hideous!

Looks like the 300 just had too many hard launches on it, Had the badlands had an ATLAS in stock it would have been in my jeep by the end of the day that I broke.

No one keeps Atlas in stock. It takes I think 6 weeks to order one. Lucky, I got mine used.

When I was on said ice, I was with another guy running KM2's and a bunch running other various tires including Goodyears. The only two who had problems was me and the other guy running the same tires.

The problem with them is that they have no lateral traction. You get them sideways and they turn into ice skates. You add that to a shelf road with ice and a serious off camber and they will try and kill you.

Tires have traction on ice? A studded tire maybe...
