works for me... :dunno:

I waste ricer hondas and flatbiller trucks all the time on 3.55s and 33s... it really doesn't take much.

Confused the hell out of a Corvette owner a few weeks ago while driving home late at night, he pulled up even with me doing about 75 on the highway and revved the motor. I stuck it in 2nd gear and floored it, at least till the rev limiter kicked in at around 90-95. Eased off and went back to normal speed, let him win... I don't think he was expecting any of that.

I love doing this because I get a free speedtrap canary out of it, if I want to go a little faster I just pull even again and they take off and try and stay ahead of me.

Odd..... SeaMonkey, using an SSH forwarded proxy, doesn't display the image in his post, yet if I paste the image URL into an address bar, it shows fine. Refreshing the forum page still doesn't show it.

I see a large, cut, and too clean XJ with limited up-travel.

They probably have some sort of referrer checking settings or software in place. Why it isn't blocking me, I don't know, maybe the web proxy at my company strips out referrers?

If you really want to find out, telnet to port 80 on the host and request the URI manually... with and without referrer listed in your header. If it acts differently they are blocking hotlinking, or trying to.

You can also open a new tab in firefox, go to about:config, search for "referer" and change the only value that comes up to 0. Might want to change it back to 1 after testing this.

that's way too much work for an image I really don't care about.

I was just busting balls beacuse of the hotlink fail.

With all this being said about images. Any idea why I don't see the ROTM picture on the home page?

X2 on it looking bent in the pictures, but its bent in the opposite direction as normal. Saw a solid axle van that looked like it had a bent axle running down the highway... is that even possible? Seems like after a few miles, the solid axle would be a 2 piece axle.

Doesn't look like we'll be wheeling at WF this year. Jens getting pretty sick and the jeep seems to be falling apart at the seems right with her. I'm going to rent a car and come for Saturday night if that's okay.

one more work night before winterfest (monday night)...

mac 'two days to get warmed up tho' gyvr

I keep forgetting to post this...

I saw a Naperville Fire Truck in Fort Wayne on Wednesday night. It was a ladder truck. Guy said that he was going to Canada so the truck could be refurbished...I stopped him because it looked odd and in a post 9-11 world...you just never know...

mac 'no tickets issued' gyvr

no doubt, better to be safe than sorry.

I actually got pulled over a few years back in the combine by a new city cop that was green as could be..he tried to argue with me on it being an oversized load and needed banners.....I had to explain to him that he needed to go back and read the laws pertaining to ag equipment.
