My rear centercaps have been shot with dark grey primer after I bashed them in at the TFT run. They look like some one tried to smash a beer can on their forehead and only got half way.

If anyone wanted to do this, I know where there's a set sitting in a box. I bet they're cheaper than those tin cans too. :)

Freezing rain started a little bit ago. If the weather fools are right, we're in the freezing rain then heavy snow band. Bah.

I am right there with ya man. Me and the ole man couldnt get our honda generator working last night. Our power goes out all the time, we are the only house on our line, it runs through the woods.

where exactly did you break down?

For me it started right when I came up that looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong uphill going into NY from PA (would have been a long downhill for you) and I ended up coming to a halt somewhere between exits 4 and 5, iirc.

forcast is now showing up to 19" of snow by Wednesday...we already have 4-6 on the ground from the last go around and it has been sleeting for the afternoon...gonna be a fun drive home. I may have to restock the nacho machine and spend the evening and tomorrow in the shop if it gets real bad!

Yeesh. I hate dealing with sludge. Total accumulation here by tomorrow morning is supposed to be 4-8", but it's all going to be pretty dry. Still, I'm going to stay in the office late tonight before running a couple of errands and heading for home.

I feel you there... my belts blew and I overheated the hell out of the motor (temp gauge was hosed) and I only noticed when my air pressure dropped to 0 because I was going way slower than traffic (52mph top speed) and hadn't had to stop in forever. Went to honk at some hot chick who waved as she drove by (nothing like driving an army truck with no top on it to get the girls honking and waving, seriously, I was amazed) and the horn didn't work at all... tried the brakes and they were rock solid. Took me forever to stop even on flat ground, I was real glad the emergency lane was empty.

Grocery stores here are completely packed right now. I'm hoping that the 24 hour Kroger wont be so full if I can get in there around 10:00 tonight. We'll see though..

I have tea, Rice and hamburger helper. I'm good!

 Here's to not ending up in my neighbors ditch! :D

Its icing pretty bad on the north side of indy right now. Maybe a 1/4 inch of the stuff so far.

Great it'll be here soon! :smsoap:

Icing bad here in Terre Haute Also.....I have extra clothes, an air mattress, and food until Wednesday if I have to stay here at work if the roads get bad enough. I suspect I will get to go home tonight, but who knows about tomorrow.

About 1/4 of freezing rain here at the moment. BIL works in Lafayette, guess they've already got a couple of inches of snow up there. Bleh. As long as the power doesn't go out, I've got enough food and beer for a few days; after that, it's going to get ugly.

Looking out my "window" (aka, the security camera monitor for the front door), I see a nice shine to the road, this will be a fun drive home that 4wd can't help.

it is raining fire here and I believe it is armageddon.......I think unicorn riding zombies are controling the snow generating device and the end of the world is coming.....and the Keebler elfs smoke hash.

Everyone on FB from school is hoping that school gets cancelled tomorrow. IU has closed school twice in the past 33 (thanks Pat) years. One in the big storm of 1978 (2 ft of snow), and once my freshman year (08-09) for about 18"s of snow. I don't think they will be closing for an inch of ice. But that's just my prediction.

Your math skills just got Yohn'd...

The most freezing rain looks like it will show up after 2pm tomorrow. 1" of ice is pretty serious...I hope that does not happen.
