Important

I would run the F'n thing through the show room window at peak traffic hours if you cant get any farther them.
An, I would attach a sigh attached to the back of it as to why you did such a stunt so it would be visible for the news cameras to see.

No, I really would.....

The previous RV was one week away from ending up in their show room.

If I don't hear anything from them or their lawyer I'm trailering it back up there. The Jeep hasn't even been off the trailer since I bought it.

BFGoodrich has agreed to sponsor Rosco Racin with a tire contribution!!!

I just bought my first welding helmet a few months ago and after playing around with a number of friends helmets I learned that I really like a large field of view especially when you are welding in weird body positions. I ended up with a Miller Elite series(autodarkening). I figure that buying a good helmet from the start will be cheaper in the long run since you will not be looking to upgrade in a few months or a year.

it certainly looks like a nice helmet, but right now i don't have another $300 to spend, just dropped $800 into the welder and tank. i'll have to look around, I do want a large field but I also have WF to fund.

thanks for the insight, no pun intended.

Dan, how much are your eyes worth?

Buddy of mine got an HF auto-dark helmet, it flared on him, repeatedly. Exchanged, same thing. Don't remember what he has now, but it's not HF.

I picked up an auto-dark at MI Airgas a couple of years ago, something like $180.

looking like a trip to Texas may be in my near future...thinking about picking up a Chevy Duramax crew cab dually....anyone interested in my 3/4 ton gasser? :D

I know. I'm sure I'll end up with a good helmet, I'm just ready to start melting metal.

thinking about an 03-04. The LB7 is a good motor as long as it has had the injectors redone or no problems with them. The LLY is a good motor too, just not as much HP as the other from what I have read. To keep it in my price range and get it jack stack loaded with options, it will be in the LB7 range I am sure.
