Went to drive to work this morning and couldn't get out of the parking stall.... My rear brakes are locked up good... I should have known, 116k miles on original brakes, I had it coming to me... Called into work for the night so I can go out to the Max-Bilt shop and tear them apart. Luckily both O'Riley's and Advanced has the parts I need if I need them... No Napa in town here...

I had a guy ask me how many o2 sensors were on his explorer, so i told him there was 2 o2 and 2 cat monitors, he asked what was a cat monitor was so i told him it monitors the catalytic converter. he said ok so it monitors the Cadillac converter

Another one that bugs me - people dropping "to be" out of sentences. For example "the engine needs fixed" or "the lawn needs mowed". I have no idea why this is done.

The bottle for my co2 for my kegerator needed pressure tested...no one will fill it unless its tested. The place I went said, "You really want us to pressure test it?" I said, "How else do I get the beer out of my kegerator?" He said, "So what do you want to do?" "Well if no one will fill it without a pressure test, what would you reccommend?" We went a couple rounds like this before he finally said they would test it and it would be done tomorrow afternoon...I thought it would be a simple deal...

The bottle on my kegerator is a leased bottle. Once it's empty, take it into the shop, "gimme a full one." Pressure testing is on them. My portable 5 lb. bottle is mine, not a leased bottle. And it's less than a year old. Should be quite a while before that issue comes up.

I own both bottles of co2. The one currently being filled and tested is a 5lb. The other one is a 15 or 20lb? I got 7 kegs of beer out of the 5lb...which interestingly enough lasted just under 7 months
The other big bottle isn't full so not sure how long its going to last.
My welding bottles and my torch bottles are exchange, this is my first co2 experience. I may try an exchange with the bigger bottle.

I thought about buying my kegerator bottle, then decided against it. It's hidden off in a corner, and nobody even knows it's there, let alone seeing it. My portable bottle.... that's another story, so I sprung for a new brushed aluminum cylinder.

I got an official Coca-Cola big-boy CO2 tank from work. We were closing for the winter and had atleast 10 of the bigger CO2 tanks so I grabbed one for my portable cooler-tap system (cold plate in the bottom of a cooler with two taps setup and a CO2 regulator, pours perfect too)
Whatever you brought us at Redbird was delicious!

Made $50 pulling a dually out after work today. I wouldn't have charged him but he told me he would give me money before he admitted that's what he needed and I had to drive 35 miles to do it. He was impressed that a 3500 brick got his big ass diesel dually unstuck.
My my how deep the rabbit hole goes....
I was running my room temporarily on an extension cord + power strip from an outlet in the hallway. A few hours ago, that suddenly decided not to work...
No blown breakers, no popped GFIs.

Oh I'm defintiely not going to get it refilled, I'll just take it back to work when I'm done with it. The GM said I could use it since we didn't have any use for them over the winter. (Even though they wont "go bad" he said I could take one with me) Kinda a perk or winterizing an entire bar/restaraunt/kitchen on your own
