Important

FWIW, I shelled out more than that just for a lighter pair of bars on my WD hitch in September. If that hitch is built well at all, it's a bargain.

Don't think I have ever see a 4.0 fail due to lifters, or even lifters fail. Now....if I were building a NEW engine, then I would toss new lifters in it, but a rebuild.....

JMHO YMMV

Let me know. I'm interested, but skeptical.

I watched the video. They apparently purchased a lot of them for a very inexpensive price from some warehouse somewhere...it looks as good as anything else. Most 10k w/d hitches are 300 bucks for everything...so yeah, 119 is an outstanding deal.

I called them and everything seemed legit. I ordered it because I was concerned about the price running out in a few days. As soon as I get it, I will report back.

used lifters are the way to go. i reused my main bearings when i built my engine. they are still good as long there is only alittle copper showing.

btw, i was completely joking, never reuse bearings etc.

Yeah - I can tell from everyone's comments that they can see them. I think it's just an issue on my end and I'm not sure what is causing it.

looks cool Dan, I mean, for you doin it and all.... :D

put them on with the quick detach pins so you can swap them on and off like a race car..and because it would just be cool, like you.

I can never see the images you post. Looks like you are posting them directly and not hosting them somewhere...?

I have my user options set to show images...not sure what else to do. Anyone have an idea?

Same with me...

just got an idea...I usually use Firefox.

tried it with Internet Explorer and now I can see them!

Looks good Dan...I like it. Assume you are sticking with gray overall?

went and saw rev horton heat last night, along with the shack shakers and split lip rayfield. i went to the bar and they wanted $4 a beer and $10 for a pitcher. the bar tender thought i was nuts for drinking straight out of the pitcher.
that's when I'd stick a straw in it and say "hey the doc said I was only allowed one drink per day"

and damn that purple monster is rusty as hell!

Yeah, I spent $350 on mine for the moab trip, but it wasn't designed for the 8 inch rail on the trailer, so when I was turning into a hotel parking lot, the bar broke out of the pocket.

I'm not sure if I can get it welded and repaired. For $120, it might be a moot point.

I have not had to change a tire in over 20 years, the last one i changed was a Goodyear, and surprise, the one I had to change today was a Goodyear. I have never had to change a BFG, they still get punctured, but they hold onto the object better so they do not leak as much.
