I remember paying $4 + for a beer in 86-87. Of course that was in George Town, probably around $10 now. JIM.
 
I figured out the easiest way to get alcohol for free at the bar is to order the hardest thing they have, every wannabe tough guy in the bar will then try and find a drink that will take you out. A shot of 151 with a shot of whiskey as a chaser works well, unless everclear is available in your state.

If by "bar" you are referring to Winterfest, and by "hotties" you are referring to Flex, and by "buy" you mean trade beer for parts...it is a totally believable dream! :D

and maybe your dream includes Flex in a leporad print banana hammock :dunno: I mean, I am not judging, just saying......
 
I have a good photo that was sent to me from Pig Gig of Flex...I might need to do a little "photochopping"!!

I know that I let a guy drink free if he took two shots of tequila in a row, but he had to snort two lines of salt, take the shots, then squeeze a lime wedge in each eye. It was brutal, but I guess the guy says he does it all the time and the people in the bar always buy him a shot. But he was a little too good at snorting the salt if you ask me.

Good christ, I would never do that. The tequila sure, no problem, but the salt and lime are not for me.
 
I am more o a grab a case and drink with a bunch of friends type of guy, very rarely that i go out to bars the wifey likes going out to bars and clubs, shes never had to order her own drink though ever been in an extremely crowed bar and have to order something that takes longer to say than BEER it sucks
 
went and saw rev horton heat last night, along with the shack shakers and split lip rayfield. i went to the bar and they wanted $4 a beer and $10 for a pitcher. the bar tender thought i was nuts for drinking straight out of the pitcher.
 
I drink in my garage. A lot.

I have a kegerator just for my buddies...I rarely drink from it.
