Its hard to believe that Wheeler has 3 posts in here and Collin has 4...I'm saddened. Scratching my head, ass, crotch (whatever you think I'm scratching and maybe then sniffing) in confusion. They're pretty active members. Kinda hard to beleive.

Also really looking forward to the jeep getting a much needed boost. Knowing my schedule it might actually be done for WF, or a winter shakedown in February. Weather here has been wonderful for mid October, makes me really wish I could get out jeepin' some more. Though I do get to shoot trap tonight, so that should be fun.

The Ford is getting hard to start, even in warm temps or with the block heater hooked up to it. Looks like I've got a couple hundred bucks to drop on batteries here soon. Would really like Diehard Platinums but will probably end up with some Duralasts.

As far as I can tell this thread never had a "track". It was always an "Ongoing meeting of the MWC"
You might want to check your starter first. The starter in my CTD benefited a couple of years ago from a new set of solenoid contacts, and over the summer from a new set of brushes (both one heckuva lot cheaper than a new starter.)Look what I started... Let's try to keep this thread on track guys.

Check your glow plug relay. They like to crap out on 7.3s and cause a hard start. As far as batteries go, there are only 2 or 3 major manufacturers so no matter the label they're all pretty much good. Wally World Maxxstarts have a pretty good rep and warranty. Yes, they're WalMart but just as good as any, plus you are never more than 50 miles from a store if you have problems.

Glow plug relay will fix it right up.
