Important

Well, I finally got some time to wrench on the boat. Replaced the starter, battery, fresh gas, got stung by a bumble bee, and the damn thing still doesn't start. Now to replace the solenoid switch that is clicking away everytime I try to start it. This thing needs to be done by the weekend as the temps are going to get pretty sticky!
 
well the WJ had to get a ride on a big yellow tow truck today, the wife was heading out to work stopped to get some gas when she tried to start it again the key wouldn't turn i guess the ignition cyl must be bad
 
Looks like the bossman is buying me some new Old Man Emu leaf springs just as soon as I put a slvage trans in his wifes taurus... I'm also straightening out all his bookwork for his meeting with his banker on Wednesday... For that I'm getting a super good deal on KM2s...

I like having a job that actually gives good perks.. :D
 
I have to stick relatively close to home, I'm on call. Looks like I get to put new brushes in the CTD's starter this weekend, it started turning over much slower a couple of days ago, and cleaning the posts hasn't helped.
 
Working the Weekend, but I have today off, for the most part, and Monday, so not sure exactly what I'm doing...
 
I'll be attending work this evening. Then, I'm off until Tues. Brother and sister will be in town. I've got some goodies from Boomland to play with sometime.
 
I don't really plan on doing a whole lot tomorrow, just my monthly poker game. But, Sunday I'm having some family and friends over for a barbeque. I have Monday off, hope to get some golf in. I haven't had the time for that in quite a while.
 
Tonight is my 3rd annual 4th of July party (and birthday party)...

I am out of here at 3pm today...gone til Tuesday.

I am standing up in a Wedding tomorrow for a friend of mine who is having a Buddist ceremony. Not quite sure what to expect. No practice....he said we'd wing it!!! I will report in afterward...maybe a few pics.

me and my brother are in charge of the pyrotechnics for the family event on Sunday... it's gonna be a blast.

Last year we had a 4 by 6 foot float built out of 2x4s and foam insulation floating in a lake by my aunt's house, completely covered with big roman candles, mortars, and ground effects.
 
If you haven't been to Harlan, I highly suggest it. Its amazing down here. So many trails so little time!

my plans look something like
tonight
drink and work on the XJ
sat:
sit around all day waiting to drink at night at a party
sun:
go to the beach and drink then party again
mon:
recover and probably mow the lawn
 
haha yeah no pun intended at all :eyes:

tonight: give some spare parts to some guy who wants them, they're doing me no good
tomorrow: help one of the NAC guys swap an engine, go look at the partsmobile me and another guy are buying, buy fireworks
sunday: :explosion:party::explosion:party::explosion
monday: junkyard, pick up partsmobile, start stripping it
 
Well I work(ed) during the day today, and tomorrow.

Tomorrow I'll probably be at the lake after work, drinking.

Sunday is the same plan.


But I may bust home and pick up the Hurst, run up north and watch the fireworks from Brockway Mtn. We'll see, either way it'll be a good weekend.

Gonna get my paperwork in to be a sweeper for the LSPR in October and I was out practicing my drifting skills in the WJ, It actually does nice! AWD does great and plenty of power to kick the tail out.
 
just got in a little while ago...900 square bales today, and then we started on stacking the round bales....got about 90 of them in before we said to hell with it. Going to pick up my sister in KC tomorrow at the airport. It is always a good time to see her, only get to see each other once a year so I am pretty excited to see her and share some beers and a few stories!
 
On my birthday party I try to stay up drinking until sunrise just to prove to myself that I still got it...

Currently sitting at Perkins... Internet down on campus... Since the holiday, no one is down there to reset it... So tomorrow I'm heading home to visit the 'rents and get a couple research projects finished...
