Found it, thanks.

The huskys in my XJ are good, since the floor is low enough compared to the sill.

I ordered tint for my truck and Wyfies van yesterday. Pre-cut, 20%, 1mil thick off of eBay. Just the front windows, rears are factory tinted. A co-worker ordered tint from this guy with good results so, we'll see how it goes.

My tint was 82 bucks out the door (on sale for $25 off the normal price). Which isnt bad considering he made it darker then the law allows. Also has a lifetime warranty. The manager also said that if I ever got pulled over and was told to remove the tint that I could bring my truck back and they would put it back on for free.

Doesn't sound like a bad deal. Just the two front winderz for me. All the others are factory tinted. I've only got $15 in it so, if it doesn't work..........I can still feed the kids.:yelclap:

It cost $86 to get mine matched. Cost me nothing since my dad gave Me a gift card for the place.

front side window tint is a no-no in Illinois....

The law changed believe it or not. I know it shocked the heck out of me. But we did call the District 19 headquarters and asked them just to verify. I think you're legally allowed up to 35%. I'll be over at 20%..........but who's counting.:D

I don't have the exact IL law but, here's a news story on it.

Josh, had a blast having you at camp. Sure was nice to drive the girls nuts with movie quotes and so much more. Hope you come up here again for a pipeline trip. Mud wresling was everywhere over the weekend. Rev, it would of been a playground for ya.;) :D

Yeah, it was a pretty good time! I'm not so sure Rev could survive the sight of some of those girls. He may just wind up clutching his left shoulder and falling to the ground!

I know the Indiana Popo are counting...I've had mine checked twice. Both times below the limit but they never made me peel it off. We have the same 35% max law and the first time they got tested, my fronts were at 17%. A year or whatever later they faded to about 26% when they got tested again. I figured the rate of fade x frequency of pull overs = Im cool before they get tested again.

So is the pursuit of happiness........

A couple yrs back i got about 500 bucks in fines and a threat to take my license away for tinted windows in IL :paperwork i had limo on all my windows and got a handful of tickets in one year so i had to go to court and the judge said $500 and a police officer would go out to the car to make sure there off, i paid my fines and had the tint off
what sucks is in court the lady that went to the bench in front of me was doing 80 in construction and he let her go :dunno:

I have a frown on my face every morning when i am heading to IL, mostly cause i gota work

i agree with illinois being communist. in college my buddies were driving a bronco on a county road under the bridge by vincennes. tire blew, they werent even off the road. cop shows up and without question arrests all 3 of them for trespassing on gov property. they werent near the levi and the closest thing around them was the boat ramp. i had to bail them out at 3:30am in my festiva. they got fined $1100 each.

I got the dodge tinted to match the rear. it looks decent. tomorrow begins the search of finding the right leveling kit buy for it. im thinking a 2.5" kit will do the job, but my stock tires will look tiny

im not a tint person. i perfer the "greenhouse" non-tint look on all my cars.

So many vehicles have factory tint on the rear glass, I like having just enough on the front to match.

And yes, IL likes to take licenses away. Only upside to their communism is making IN look better by comparison, which is a tough thing to do.

sent the floor pan templates to the laser cutter today and should have my new diamond tread floorboards in a couple days. By the time that these rust out the rig should have another 300,000 miles on it :D Also ran down all the hardware fro the beadlocks minus 64 bolts...and it still cost me $90!!! I am not sure if grade 8 is overkill on beadlocks, but I wanted to make sure that I was not going to break a bolt. I am going on week #3 coming this thursday for waiting on Ballistic Fab to get my steering components here...claim they ae still waiting on one of the rod ends... :(
