It does suck big time, I had sold the t-case to stylerG on here a few months back and was just holding it for him until he could get up here to get it. Now I have to refund his $ as well...but I can not blame the help, I pay these guys $8 an hour and told them to clean up around the big shop/barn. It is part of my "put a convict back to work" program :D I had those items stacked on a pallet by the door and to them it looks just like any other scrap/junk parts. I should have been a bit more clear about what went and what stayed......lesson learned.
 
Yeah you can't really blame them. Shit happens I guess.
 
Put a bid in on a couple of plasma cutters from the old auto hobby shop on base today. I didn't want to spend a ton of money, but maybe I'll come out on top with a cheap bid.

Didn't look like there were a ton of people interested, so we'll see.

Its four feet shorter than my open deck two place...which also has 2-7k axles under it...

Especially since on your bumper pull, you can let the vehicles overhang front and rear. I think I figured I could make a 28' open deck work with two full bodied rigs, but it would be pretty tough, if not impossible, in an enclosed trailer.

Weird... So I just said something about wanting more money. I was supposed to get retroactive pay for a raise I never received in 2009. I was told the amount was going to be 0.1% of my salary. Got the check a few minutes ago and it's more like 3%.

So assuming it isn't a mistake and they don't take it away later... I'm pretty happy.

Second problem (actually first problem - bigger deal than the money) is that I don't have anywhere to put it. Already paying $25/mo to store the 18', probably would pay double that for a bigger spot. And I don't have enough room in front of my house to even load the thing up.

But the price is right. I'll definitely be thinking about it.

Maybe I should start looking at buying some land or a shop again...

No joke... I live in a cul-de-sac so our houses are really close together. With the 18' behind the Ford I can easily block in my driveway and my neighbors... with mac's trailer I could block off the whole subdivision.

I have been looking at places to buy... found a place with a few acres, a 40x80 pole barn and a slab for a house. Wouldn't mind getting that and eventually selling my house and moving out there.

All this crap... trailers, trucks, land and pole barns... all because I like to take a vehicle out and drive over stuff. What am I doing with my life?

I hope nobody comes to me asking about ordering that i dont want to deal with it, though the profit might be nice even though i dont see any of it

Are you an SVT/Ford Racing dealership?

That's the only place you can order one. When they did the drag racing ones a couple years ago, they were spoken for before they were produced.
