there is 7 acres across the road from my place that I have been trying to buy since we moved there. The owner said he would let me know if it was to sell and I would have a shot at it. Well, what does 7 acres mean to me??? it means that if I dont buy it that someone else will and chances are they will pull in a delapadated trailer and turn the place into a total shit hole and I woudl haev to see that out of my front window......well, yesterday a family showed up and was walking around the place and putting flags in the ground like they were marking something off...so I started placing flags down my property line at random locations. They asked me what I was marking and I told them I was putting up 2 open air hog barns right there. They picked up their flags and left...later I found out it was someone that was going to use that 7 acres for a family fun day and they were marking off locations for tents and tables etc...I kind of felt bad...for a minute 
It was not like I was going to build a hog barn overnight anyhow :dunno: or was I??

Once that story gets back to the owner, he may be in a hurry to unload it.

Thanks! I was actually going to find a shop to fab me some real simple toob bumpers, got on craigslist one day and found a guy selling them for dirt cheap... they are custom, the rear one is tweaked and I can't get it on yet. Also turns out the guy selling them used to work on my F-250 for the previous owner. Small world.
I about lost it when Brian said his neighbor's house sold. I'm out in my garage all the time banging and grinding stuff, and people always drive by, take one look and drive away. Maybe if it's on the market long enough, I can buy it and tear it down and build a pole barn

Thats true, I got the entire shop bill paid off and the first truck payment was made, (59 more to go!). Gotta make some money (i.e. - sitting in class clocked into work because I have to go back to work after class :worship: lol)

IIRC thats with the graft. I'll take a peek at the estimate in a bit when I go out to the Jeep again. I want to get it over with before my good insurance ends and I have to switch to Cobra!

got a new jeep in the family last week, traded in the wife's POS Chevy cobalt for this beautiful 02 WJ, this thing is clean and it rides like a caddy compared to my XJ. she is loving it and i am loving it we are a 2 jeep family now and she is slowly catching "The Bug" she can already pick a jeep out of a crowd and has the rubber neck thing going on when she drives down the street, dont expect to much out of this thing though she wont let me even look at lift kits and tires for it she says we will just take yours offroad and let that one get all the scratches and damage.
