Got an inch of snow yesterday afternoon. Ended up working until 7:00 PM with a high priority hardware replacement. That really didn't bother me too much, kept me out of afternoon rush hour. The drive home was decidedly unpleasant.

This morning, there's another inch or 2 on the ground at 17 degrees, and the roads around here are nothing but a sheet of ice this morning. Good day to work from home.
 
Looks like the chapert ROTM is off to a a good start and members are showing interest. It will run for 2 weeks and then we will vote on them and the winner will go to the National ROTM contest and from there they will narrow them down to the top 3.
 
I got my $1,100 full suspension mountain bike stolen today. Stupid me left home late, didn't take the lock with me and it got taken. My own stupidity, so no one to blame but myself. I hope I can find it but i doubt I will. It should stick out decently, it blue with grey front forks, purple bar ends, red front tire, black rear. Filed a police report but I don't think they'll do anything about it.
 
That blows man, in my younger days when I used to cycle everywhere, I had a cannondale R1000 that I rode to class one day instead of my mountain bike, it was gone when I came out of class. I reported it w/ the cops and campus security and they basically said unless it was turned in, they were not looking for it. Fast forward 6 months and there was a flier in the student union about a Cannondale road bike for sale...sure enough it was mine and the guy claimed he had bought it off "a stranger"...I got it back but it was pretty trashed.

The only plus is that it will stick out, if someone's riding it I will be able to know for sure if it's my bike. The chances are really slim, but I'm keeping my eye out for it

Whoever has it better not be riding down the road on it with you in the Jeep. He may test the durability of an AJ's bumper! :D
 
See, as a fat guy...........I have a totally different perspective. I see the only good thing being that since your bike was stolen, you now have to drive.:D

Is our own Tyler the next American Idol? Watching the auditions tonight and guy walks in. Simon says "Tell us something about yourself." Guy says, "I like cheese..." Haha, made me do a double take. Of course, he had pipes and made it through to Hollywood. It was the cheese.
 
Just ordered the Jeep some new goodies. JCR t-case skid, new sticker for the rear window, and I'm about to order some autopals and a headlight harness.
 
i better take all the hello kitty stickers off my rig then
