Important

Picked up some Bender, from Surly Brewing (Mini-No-Place craft brewer) on the way home tonight. Yum.

Hooked up the washer & dryer in the house tonight. Turned on the water..... and the hot water stem is leaking badly. Oh, well, off to the hardware store in the morning.

Stupid question. Did you try tightening the packing nut? Thats what stops them from leaking at the stem.

lol, last week I went to get something from the utility room and found the washer spraying water all over the hot water heater and the breaker box for the house. Turned out the drain for the washer got plugged up. Aparently a mouse had moved in between washes and well, mouse wound up drowning :) but that could have been sooo much worse!

hot water heater

I've never really understood the purpose of those things.
My water heater works just fine.
:dunno:

Not a stupid question. The packing nut was frozen tight, and the valve did not move freely, nor did it have full length motion. The valves were threaded on, and a pair of $5.50 replacements are working fine.

Well i went to Redbird today. Ran trails 0, 1, 14, 25 and part of 4(didn't go far) Got stuck twice but all in all had a great time and the Jeep ran great!

Glad to hear you have it fixed.

Was not trying to be an @sshat as someone else thought I was. Just thought I'd give a friendly piece of advice.
Getting to be more like Pirate here.:shhh:

Never a dull moment around here. I was heading up to Redbird for our monthly meeting when the fuel pump went out in the Blazer again. Of course it happened in BFE, and naturally I forgot my cell phone at home. Had to hoof it to the Carlisle truck stop to call the wifey for rescue. Apparently nobody wants to stop and help a guy walking down the highway near a prison :dunno:

Sorry man. Kyle(not sure of his SN) didn't wanna slide sideways down the Hill and hit the tree again! He has a maroon XJ on 32's. It really wasn't as Muddy as I expected out there but my Jeep is still covered!

Thanks Flexed.......it's good to know that we can count on you.

got a hot lead on a concession business (concession trailer) that is closing, I am gonna try and get all the goodies that I can out of it. Thought about buying the whole damn thing but it is crazy expensive and pretty much single purpose.....
