got a promotion and a raise.

Guess someone has noticed that I have been busting my ass.

Same job, new title, still a ton of work, but atleast now I am getting paid what it is worth.

I get the first full week of may off and the second full week of june off unpaid, once unemployment check comes for each of those weeks I only lose 2.5 days of pay not bad for a full week off.

I know its a terrible thing and I should feel bad...

The local Section 8 housing project is on fire, and for some reason seeing all those cars worth more than any of my junk trapped by the firefighters working on a fire in apartments that I pay for kinda makes me smile inside....

Picked up some Bender, from Surly Brewing (Mini-No-Place craft brewer) on the way home tonight. Yum.

Hooked up the washer & dryer in the house tonight. Turned on the water..... and the hot water stem is leaking badly. Oh, well, off to the hardware store in the morning.
