Important

I can bring an SWR meter is someones wants me to..... I only have like 6 of them..... Any other CB realated stuff I need/should bring?

I hate it when projects go awry. I attempted to put a WJ PS pump on the Jeep tonight, should have been a 1 hour project max. I started at 9, and just walked in the door at 12:30 after walking home from the shop. The reservoir on the new pump leaked, and after an hour of trying to seal it up, I said heck with it. What sucks is I have to drive to Evansville to exchange the pump, a 2 hour round trip.

Always seems to happen on the easy jobs.

My dad is gonna fab me up some bumpers for my Jeep. I think i am going to do a nice hidden winch setup. I went to his shop today and he has a Miller MIG welder, a thermal dynamics plasma cutter, and a band saw for metal, Also two units down in the building he is in has a FULL metal shop in it! :D JACKPOT!!!

100th Post!

Well, hell, as long as we're marking milestones: 1500!

:D

In other news, I finally got mine back this morning. I don't farm out much work, but the rear main was more than I wanted to tackle in the cold.

So I took it to my buddy Charlie. He said he'd do that, and all the main and rod bearings while he was in there. Plus, he only charged me for the parts, and let the labor slide until our overtime comes back...

Helluva guy.

Now I just have to figure out what's wrong with the brakes, and I'll be good to go!

Happy 1500 brother!

Excellant glad to hear your getting close.... You thinking about going to winterfest???

Well I'am off to the you-pull boneyard this mourning.. Back in the summer I gave Comanchedude the brake booster off the purple xj.. Not thinking ahead I gave him the pedal assy. that mounts the new brake switch.. He even said at the time you might need that for the swap. My reply no I 'll just wire it in....

Wrong!!!!

Great day at the you-pull boneyard... Got my pedal assy. and finally after two years of looking got a set of Laron Hood Vents.. Total cost 14.52 for everything

Off to the garage

I think i know where i lost a couple MPG's. My throttle body was FILTHY! 4 bucs fixed er right up looks like I won't use quite as much gas going to WF

I spent the afternoon replacing the filter on my transmission and adjusted the throttle cable going to the trans. It shifts much better now, must have pulled the cable out a little when I was putting on the throttle body spacer or bored out the throttle body.

Finally got my PS pump project finished up. I went back to the shop yesterday with a fresh pair of eyes and realized I could patch it with epoxy. I let it sit with fluid in it overnight, and it was good to go this afternoon. It does seem to be easier to turn, but nothing spectacular. I used a WJ pump from an 04 with the 4.7HO.

Ever hear the term "no rest for the wicked"?
With a schedule like that you must be darn right evil. I take it time at home is precious? I can see why you need a new toiletries bag that often.

You know they have Jeep branded luggage now.......It was on the end-cap at Wal-Mart. If it's on the end-cap, it's got to be good!

Just got home from a John Hiatt/Lyle Lovett acoustic show...now that is music...

I saw LL in December. He played at a Christmas event I attended.
He was like 20 feet from me.

too bad I don't like that (country) music.

although, I did appreciate the ten piece band,
and, he had three bros singing backround.
I enjoyed that.
