Added another jeep to the family. Got a patriot to use as a parts delivery vehicle. I really like the little thing. It gets 22-28 mpg, lots of head room, and the front passenger seat folded down so I could haul some 8' long 2x4s in it the other day. It got around in the snow/ice pretty well too.

My wife used to say that she would never drive a lifted/modified jeep, and that if I ever touched hers she would sell it. Well, now all of the sudden she is trying to convince me to sell her stock WK so that she can drive my lifted WJ and she wants me to make my XJ a daily driver again. She claims I have too many toys, I guess she has figured out that if I won't sell them she might as well drive one. But she is right, I need to cull the herd.

Anyone want to buy a '65 Mustang?

Getting my tax check tomorrow. Its not as much as i hoped but. I am ordering AJ's Superrails tomorrow and buying some 3 in OME coils from a dude in the SEC! As soon as i pay the jeep off here in a couple weeks its time to start buying my lift parts! :D

Don't get rid of that car Trav.
Trust me. You will regret it for the rest of your life.

I do agree with Hale on this one. I would try to keep that car. Always wanted a 65 or 66 in red. Someday. That is a very nice mustang!

Not me. My 1st car was a pile. I do regret selling my 85 CJ7 though. It was an Arizona rig, so the frame and tub were spotless. Full hard doors, hard top and brand new soft top. Only reason I sold it was I couldn't get it to run worth a crap, and I didn't know any better at the time.

Sold it for way less than it was worth and regret it to this day.

my first car was a 70 Vega Wagon....
as I used to call it "The Vega No tell Motel".
I put more oil than gas in that car.
the best part were the chrome Cragar wheels.

You didn't hold back at all on that tear down did ya.

Hee Hee Warning a few beers, tools, a warm garage, a vision, and some free time can cause a good running jeep to be scattered .

Damn Nick! You gotta a lot of work to do before WF! :D

Yes sir but so far going good . Hope to have the engine in and running by the weekend.

Well off to the garage

Nick

My son is sick, my wife is sick, my sister-in-law (the babysitter) is sick. Been up since 2:00 am trying to calm a sick baby, and cleaning the house. Everything in the house is getting washed or cleaned today. Fun times!

Found a pair of axles for $200, Dana 60 rear and Dana 44 Front, 4.11 with a rear locker, 64" WMS. Front a LP though, is it worth it? Been looking to upgrade, cause I really don't want to put money into gearing and lockers for wimpy little axles, and these already have the gears and a locker. Just wondering if axles off a 70's powerwagon are worth it?
