Where the heck are you tonight, Rev?

:music:
"Where o' where....are you tonight? Why did you leave me here all alone? I searched the world over....and thought I found true love.... You met another and....pfpfpfpfpffhhhh, you were gone!"
:music:

Albert Lea.

Not far from you.

Decided that I am sleeping in tonight.....at the price of working during the day tommorow.

Already need to climb a small tower and hang an antenna...now I also need to program several digital units for Wednesday night.

Brrrrrr. Have they not heard of plowing around here?

Just got back for 5 days of skiing at Keystone....yeah it was fun, but I couldn't help but think that I would have rather spent that time and money wheeling at a different time of year out there :D

One other thing..I think that I was passed by at least 8 billion Subaru's in those 5 days and traveling there and back....they were running like mach speed in the snow w/o a care in the world while I was tooling down the road in the Tahoe worried about wipping out in the mountains during the snow storms.

At least the weather is a little more pleasant today than the last couple of days.

Yeh I drove from Menomonie to River Falls last night, kept the CB running and radio'ed in on emergency channel all the cars and the one semi that went off the road.... Silly people think Driving on snow is like dry pavement... Heading home today for winter break and, hopefully, some Jeep modifications....

I am having a blast driving my heep around town.
I keep off everyone's back end.
I like plowing through the drifts.

Another day driving in a blizzard.

4X4 for 9 hours.

I have not decided if I am working tonight or not.

Rev

I worked last night driving in the snow for 8 hours...no 4x4 on my company car...but in 8 hours I only went 100 miles...

mac 'the freezing rain on top of the snow was fun' gyvr

Damn, I think we are going to break the record snow fall for December. Already have over 25" of snow, 1" of rain that fell a few days ago, 12"-16" between tomorrow night and Friday with 3"-6" on Sunday.

Bring it on!!!:D

Columbus was an ice cube yesterday! The jeep tried to commit suicide by stepping out toward oncoming traffic. I had to use 4wd to keep it straight! I was hoping to save the use of 4wd until we get some snow piles to climb! :D

Absolutely zero snow here. Entire town was an ice rink this morning though. If you got a good enough run at the road, you could slide every bit of 100' in the truck.
