just scored a couple of the new JCR Offroad t-shirts for $7 each. they just posted them up on the Black Friday sale that they are having.
 
They are not too bad to do.
You will need a 10mm 1/4 drive deep well socket to get the g/ps out.
The air intake side is he worst b/c of the air box.
The rear bolts ont he other side are a pita, but not bad.
There is a breather in the top of the valve cover that is put together with Phillips screws, you will need to stick the rubber gasket with grease so you can get it back together.

turns out on 7.3 powerstrokes the glow plugs are under the freggin valve covers, which you pretty much have to take everything out of the engine bay to get to.....awesome.

Be glad they are not on the side of the head.....as in GM's first run at a medium duty diesel (circa 1980). They reused the spark plug holes on the Olds rocket heads....:looser:
 
One other issue was with the pass thru harness, witch is also the valve cover gasket.
