Excuse me?
I seem to recall a trip out to Arizona averaging in the 7-8 mpg range.

You swap the Cummins for a Briggs & Stratton since then?

Don't go by the overhead display.....

Gotta throw a new set of injectors in. It got a new injection pump last fall.

Yeah, but I pay $0.50 less per gallon and oil changes cost $15. Plus, trying to fit a family of 5 in anything smaller sucks. Kim's Durango is a stretch, especially if we have to haul strollers, etc.

You get the right vehicle for the job....

What kind of fuel is 2.59 a gallon?

E-85... Compared to $3.59 for NL and that's with competition from China*Mart.

The only price reported to E85prices.com in Lousiana is $2.80. But thats compared to $3.41 for NL.

Helllllooooooooo!

I'm still around!

Vehicle situation has improved... we picked up a '04 BMW 525i yesterday for the wife, so I get to daily drive her former XJ now. And she is letting me keep the Suburban. Life is good.

See you at the Pig Gig.

I've yet to see any e85 around here.

Mark, I was just starting to think you were only in my dreams.

Replacing the rear main seal on the 4.0 with it still in the heep,........... sucks.

I should be well lubed though. I have grease and grime in places that I didn't know I had.

I was surprised that there wasn't anything in the oil pan. I was expecting some sludge or yucky stuff. Nothing but a little oil. I did learn that dropping the pan with an oil change, you need another quart.:D

I'm pooped, and the yard still needs mowed!

I want to buy a gallon of POR-15
anybody have a place to get this at a good price?
otherwise, I will probably get it on e-bay

thanks

BOB

Speaking of maintainence. Did a tune up: plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor, air filter (and opened up the hole in the air box, wow thats small). I felt a huge improvement in throttle response, it made my day that something so simple provided a change.

For those of you who have been to mi casa, the pink and blue bathroom is no more!
Hopefully I can poop in it tomorrow night!

Hopefully you have installed a stool that can handle a full loaf. Next time I visit I will try it out and post the results.

:D

Nice.

Eagerly waiting for results.

Funny this should come up... saw a stool at Lowe's today that said it was "virtually clog-proof". Sounds like a challenge to me :D

Oh BTW, pics would help if you get time. Thanks Rev.
