Got moved into the garage this weekend...and the house as well. Got till wednesday to be out of the old house...have lots and lots of cleaning to do at the old house...

took me and my help 12 to 15 truck loads to get all the crap out of and stuff sitting around my old 24x26 garage into the new 28x60 garage...house only took 3 or 4 truck loads...and none of that included any of the vehicles...

...just how many xj hatches and doors can one collect...

So after letting the MJ sit overnight, I fired it up and moved it out of the garage and lo and behold...

The steering is whining and a foamy pool of what I suspect is steering fluid is now dripping onto the driveway...

WTF!!!

Too late and too tired to even bother with it tonite...

More fun tomorrow!

Glad you got moved in mac. Once you get all moved in you need to get that big beast your building finished and get it on the trails.

Found the culprit!

A tiny split in the high pressure hose leading from the steering pump to the box.

Project "unamed as of yet" is under way!

Co-workers ran across this while on lunch today. I got a tee-hee out of it.

Thought you were giving us the time to meet you at the shake joint.

Welded my rear end today, might actually finish the gear setup tomorrow afternoon.

Did you use a helmet or put sunblock on your eyelids?

Why yes I did thank you. This time I just burned a hole in my walking cast, knowing it takes several minutes to remove it you just sit there and enjoy the sizzle.

Amazing what routine maintenance can do for your gas mileage. I changed the plugs, cleaned the TB, and Seafoamed the Expedition, and I picked up ~2 1/2 mpg according to the overhead display. Beforehand, I averaged 9.2-9.5. Now it is averaging 11.5-11.8. Both were 100% city driving, never getting over 40 mph. Throttle response is way better also, I'm gonna have to watch it around town. Hopefully our trip to Indy next week will net some highway gains as well.

I'm pleased with the gain for ~$40 and a day of my time.

Damn how do you keep gas in that thing.
