Important

Mike, I didn't think you were leaving from the hotel, didn't get to say goodbye :tears:

I got home around 2ish. Stuck around the campground for a while and cleaned up before the ground turned to soup. I had the windows down the whole way home, temp was perfect.

Hey, no biggie. I still love ya. Dave was disapointed he didn't get a goodbye kiss. We didn't think you were around and didn't want to drag the Jeep all the way down to the campground.

We had a blowout on the truck on the way home. 70mph in the passing lane with a semi in the slow lane. The tire is toast, the fancy dub on Daves truck amazangly, is fine. Yes, it was "the" tire. I'm just glad it wasn't on the front. With Daves remarkable driving skills and of course that Corvette power under the hood he managed to safely get us across a lane of traffic to the shoulder. I should mention that Dave didn't have a way to lower his spare, and we had noting that could get the job done. So, we used a set of side cuts I had and cut the cable holding the spare up. I was a nervous feller laying under that truck on the shoulder with big rigs passing us at 70mph. Not my favorite thing to do by any means.

Anyway, we made it.

Yeah, I went over to break camp, and Adam met me over there to pick up the TJ flares.

That sucks about the blowout. Maybe now he will buy those Coopers he has been talking about :D Glad you are safe though, that could have been bad.

My lips are still chapped from the campfire last night and the only chapstick we have in the house is my daughter's Strawberry & Cream Lipsmackers.

Edit: 70* and breezy in southern IN.

Hell's bells, a couple of years ago, I loaded up a YJ carcass (without engine, transmission, or tcase) for a friend of mine and hauled it out to a scrapyard out around Batavia. He got a couple of hundred bucks just for the scrap rate.

I've never heard anything good about Victory.

who was it in the MWC that saw the band "Rise Against" in concert a few months back?????

That would be randy.
