My mother makes some great potato soup, and I love her.

That is all.
Sounds good, what time is dinner tomorrow?

Either Chicken noodle soup that she made or chicken salad that I really like. She brought that stuff too. :worship: She knows I like to eat when I'm puny.

Ever see the kiosks in Wal-Mart for tax prep; either Jackson Hewitt or HR Block? Don't use them. We received a nice letter from the IRS yesterday stating we owe $7500 due to unreported income in 06. Apparrently the JH tax preparer either forgot or didn't know how to input our investment account proceeds properly, and didn't do it.

I hope we can get it straightened out, or there will not be a Moab trip for us this fall.

most of those large companies have a guarntee of some sort...I would go back and have them fix it, or keep working your way to the top until someone does.

You *ABSOLUTELY* want to take that notice in to whoever prepared your taxes. Be ready to demand that the preparer accompany you to the IRS audit.

We have contacted the office that did our return last year, but they are playing hard to get. The regional office is my next call this afternoon. I don't have a problem paying taxes on the income (well, yeah I do but you know) I just want them to take care of the fees and interest accumulated. Their guarantee *says* they will, we will have to see.

Unfortunately, this does not surprise me in the least. As much as I hate to say it, you may have to play the lawyer card to get them to the table.
