I hear ya... I had to dip into my super secret account to buy my TeraLow and 2low. We're doing pretty good this year on Christmas, once I got Kim to stop buying presents for the kids. That and the extra money from selling my 91XJ helped out.

I couldn't find a whole lot of bad about them, so I went for it. One that I did find that had trouble, just cleaned out he solenoid box and all was good after that. Casm on here swears by them.....so, we'll see.

The Summit branded winches are Tmax's. I bought mine for just a pubic hair over what Summit gets for theirs.

I haven't had anything bad to say about mine yet. I did most of my research on Pirate, figured they would know better than anyone what was crap and what was good. Pretty good reviews all around. They're not the fastest by any means, but it is a lot faster than my old Ramsey 8k. Can't beat the price either.
