I've done a bit of playing with winches lately and for the money I'd have to say that Superwinch EP series is more better.

That slow as piece of shit was given away some time ago. It was falling apart too, literally. This one fit the budget and at 42 or so fps no load, is a good 5 times faster than my old milemarker.

So I see you can spare $600 bucks for a brand new winch, and still in the black I see

so.....if any of you remember, I won that $300 gift certificate last week on Pirate4x4. Got my first package today (still waiting on my winch rope and fairlead); RuffStuff 8.25 cover

however.....I specifically ordered it without the counter-sunk option and without the drain plug......

as you can tell, this one is counter-sunk, and it obviously had the drain plug, which was welded up before it was sent out....

i guess i shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth.....so I'll live with it.....but had I paid for it, I'd be calling them right now...

No love for the ugly blue fake leather couch I see. It does stick out in the room, considering most everything else is quite nicer. Oh well, I don't buy the furniture.
