Who are you? Who Who, Who Who.

I am the spirit of Naxja's past!!!

I thought that in an effort to increase your chances of re-election...

That you'd appreciate my absence and silence. (you can deny my friendship :D)

On an unrelated note...

Brian Urlacher and his hot wife brought their dog into my work monday for some repairs...

Gawdamn is she a trophy wife!

Do me a favor...

Take pics of the swap and do a write-up...

In some alternate universe I might have the time to do this swap.

:D

There's not much to it. Take off the old backing plate, bolt the new one on and put on the calipers, and rotors. At least that is what is supposed to happen.:D We'll see how it goes. I don't antipicate any issues though.

My wife was just giving me crap about that, after I told her I'd have the leaf spring u-bolts on her jeep swapped in about 15-20 minutes, before she had to go to work. Just replace them one at a time so the axle doesn't move, piece of cake with air tools, right? After getting the outer one done, which took longer than expected because the u-bolts were extra long to work with blocks, so even the deep well socket wouldn't reach, which neccesitated using a wrench, I then discovered that the extra length also wouldn't allow the inner one to go thru the shock mount, so I had to take the first one back off.

So she went to work with one side replaced...

I just hit mine with the 4.5" Chicago Electric grinder :D

I did have to use an open end wrench to put the new ones on though, stupid tall threads and I didn't have a deep well socket in 15/16ths.

I love my gear wrenches.

I also learned today that even in podunk nowhere Southern Illinois, AutoZone will price match. I saved $35 today!

I show up for an actual naxja event.
Gil posts here.
Both within a month

The apocalypse must be upon us.

A rat took up residence in my wifes jeep. Rat is dead now, but in the span of a day and a half she (the rat) ate through the drivers seatbelt and packed the HVAC blower with insulation stolen from somewhere in the jeep.

Note: The rat took up residence in the jeep that is daily driven and still pretty, my jeep hasn't moved in over a month and was untouched. My jeep is now her transport to work since it isn't very safe to drive without a seatbelt.

I was actually amused at the gauntlet that my wife set up to catch the rat. 3 mouse traps, 3 sticky traps and 3 rat traps all on the passenger floorboard. The rat was mired in 2 sticky traps with a mousetrap on its tail.

Who?
