yeah yeah, they didnt do too terrible for what they are. This year is going to be good...

If they do well this year I may support them. I hate to be a "fair weather fan" but if they want millions of dollars from the state to subsidize them for staying in New Orleans, then they damn well better earn it. I cannot justify spending 10 million taxpayer dollars to keep a team here that perpetually loses.

Oh and on the "Bobby Boucher" end of the conversation, I am from south central louisiana. I can definately confirm that there is no South Lafayette High school in Cherokee Plains, La.

There is, however, a Lafayette High School. Located near UL Lafayette, formerly known as University of Southwestern Louisiana. USL was the bulldogs, not the mud dogs.

The nearest swampland is about 5 miles "as the crow flies" from the University (Lake Martin) which would be a helluva drive on a lawnmower. There is however a "habitat" outside the Union complete with alligators and alligator gar.

Can't live here for 29 years and not have some side effects apparently.

Examples:
I'm starting to have real trouble pronouncing my "th" sounds in everyday conversation now. Prior to my entering the workforce, people actually asked where I was from when I was abroad. Now, mais sometimes I talk like dis, an I don even notice dat.

I can't eat anything without cayenne pepper, with the exception of most sweets.

I have no idea what emissions testing entails.
