Tracked down some clunks in the front end. Decided to check the front suspension bolts, I think I may have found 3 that were tight.

changed out my driveshaft u-joint last night.
What a difference.
old one was in bad shape, I'll post pics later.
Let's just say there was some extra backlash in my drivetrain.

Welded on mini-skidz and reinforced the UCA mount on the passanger side.
New brake shoes on the rear made a huge difference too. I can stop alot quicker now, who'd a thunk it?

I'm headed to the Walmart parking lot to rotate my tires.

My lot has been covered in ice since it first snowed in December.

I'm also trying to figure out a plan for flares. Wash the Jeep, and five minutes later its covered with road salt again. Leaning towards TJ, but might try to make my own from fiberglass or something.

My intelligent husband just took off down the road in his XJ with no top on it and it is a balmy zero out. He is going to drive it 20 miles to a heated shop to work on it so he doesn't get cold?! :laugh3:
