FlexdXJ wanted pics of the ZJ, so I'll post a few here. It's a 98 Laredo, 4.0L w/ 125k on it , 242, 3.73s, and clean. The body has only a couple of minor dings. It only had three previous owners and it was a fleet vehicle in L'ville for the first nine years. I've had three XJs altogether and they have all served me well, but it was time to upgrade to a more comfortable ride for DD/Family use. It will get modified, but nothing crazy at all and it will be a fairly slow process. I need to get some other things in order financially. I'll be ahead in the end though.

Dang, that is Clean Jason. Don't worry ZJ's are good wheelers too. Just don't go to Mallcrawlin, those guys aren't nice to XJ owners and you could probably get more ZJ tech answers here!

Wish my provider was more friendly to upgrading phones.

Beer, Burgers w/bacon&cheese for dinner tonight. Today was a long day, need some good grease and alcohol.

Thanks Aaron. Right now it needs some MTs on it, so I'm looking at some 30x9.50s of some brand. Next will be skids, rock rails, and front recovery. I may thrown a BB on it once that is done, along with other odds-n-ends. A D44a will replace the D35 at some point for better strength and reliability.

I've never been to Mallcrawlin and don't really plan to. I'll stick to JF and nagca.com if I need any answers. So far, JF has be far more helpful than nagca.

Got Jeep aligned today... Sort of...
Rear Axle has .52 degrees of thrust angle...:wow:
Now I gotta find some time and a place to try and figure out how to fix it... For now looks like it's gona dog-track... Better than chewing up my tires... :/

I knew I wanted my new garage to be tall and deep enough to fit my F250.

It never occured to me to make it big enough to take the XJ on the trailer.

Now I want that, too!

Too cool...

The new shop at our house was built by the previous owner just before we bought the place....it is a 30x40 insulated w/ heat, a/c and floor drains. The double overhead doors were not as thought out as the reast of the shop...they are just the small 9x7 or 8x7 :dunno: single car doors...which blows b/c I can not put my XJ on the trailer to pull in and my 2500HD has the big ol' towing mirrors that barely make it in the door.

My new shop is a 50x80 morton building, but it is just a farm shop w/ dirt floors and electricity, just a machine shed..nothing fancy at all....yet :D I am going to pour concrete in half of it and do in-floor heat w/ a wood fired boiler set up and section the shop off in 1/2's to have a tall workshop w/ heat and the rest will be storage All things will come in time...like bankruptcy!! :D

Well, mine could be taller...the door is only 80 inches tall. with only a stockish xj could this be done and we put the xj on the trailer with the xj staying in the garage. Basically pushing the trailer under the xj. Then once the axles were pulled we could drop it and pull it out clearing the door. My shop is a 28x60 with one section 28x40 and 28x20...the smaller of the two is where the xjbuggypopcan gets stored out of the way of the crazyness of the big side...

Dad's shop (built in 1968) is a 40x70 clear span, poured concrete floor, with 14' high rolling doors (probably 24-28' opening.) And after 40 years, it still doesn't creak with the wind.

Dad's in pretty rough shape. He's asleep right now, I'm posting from the easy chair next to his bed.

Jeff, sorry to hear about your dad, I will keep him in my thoughts

Hope to get the trans back in the Nissan Xterra today and back to the owner .I still think it's possessed...:firedevil
