I believe the that Rally America series came through Flat Nasty Off Road Park when we were there for Winterfest. Some go-fast cars for sure!!

Finally got a few pics from when we filmed for the travel channel last month.

I would like to introduce Apache. She is one of the largest snakes in captivity right now. She weighs in at 240lbs, roughly 18" around in the thickest part, and 22' long. She could also take a average size person down with little to no trouble.

Yeah not if you know her. I only am employed with them 3 months out of the year. And that is enough to last the other 9 months. If you can find the Travel Channel special that was on last night at 7 that should be the episode on our houses. I think it was called America Haunts. She had the most facetime of all in the filming.

For anybody who hasn't driven Brockway Mountain Drive, it's a rough, narrow, and frequently twisty little drive up and down the mountain. There are 2 vicious hairpin turns on the east side that are legitimately 15mph or less by us common folk. I'm sorta curious what a tricked out Subie WRX or Mitsu Evo would do through there. But yes, there's no way that there's room for any spectators through there. The only place with any parking is right on top, and there's just not that much room.

BTW, the view during Fall Colors is just amazing.

no...busted knuckle...the histeer arm is fine...stock 60 knuckles are apparently weak (tho it took me three years to break one)...going to order some Ried knuckles (formerly dedeabear) as soon as I get it off the trailer and access all the damage...

oh yeah...the ride WAS fun!

Got an ulcer on the cornea of my left eye. Now I get to wake up every 2 hours to put in some eye drops. Hurts real bad, Doc says if it gets worse (it shouldn't) I could lose vision in that eye.

Moral of the story: wear eye protection.
