That sucks Mike! Keep your head up dude things will pick up.

Man, this just ain't right. I'm feeling for you Mike. I hope this goes smoother then you think.

But hey, every time I turn on the news I hear how we're pulling out of it and all that happy Horsesh. My wife and I both work for the state up here and between the two of us we have to give up 32 day w/o pay and a large reduction in our bene's and any raise we were supposed to get is out the window, and we're the lucky ones so far. There's about 1400 layoffs coming so we'll see how we fair in that poop storm..

I think I'll go back to CNN and listen to how unemployment claims are going down again....fkrs

Sorry
The pills are wearing off again...

Good luck with the jobs. I am still very grateful my job asked me back for the summer (internship type thing while I'm in school). As nice as your MJ is Brian I cant justify it.

For the record, the XJ Kim and I went to look at was not all that. The 2.8 had a bad miss and a exhaust leak as well as plenty of rust. My dad told me that the 2.8 they had in their Chev Citation had valve cover leaks, an they finally gave up on it when the oil pressure started dropping. I would assume some O-rings or seals somewhere.

Hang in there Mike...

The economy seems like it's starting to pick up.

Best wishes to you and your family.

On a better note...

and my death wobble is fixed, track bar bot had walloed out the track bar bushing and the hole, drilled it out for a 7/16th bolt and problem solved.

Here are a few pics of the "gem" of a manche that I came across. Rusted out rockers and rust on the outside of the bed, but the inside of the bed and the unibody are all in pretty good shape. Motor knocks like crazy, but will pull itself on a trailer once wheels are back on it. Good canidate for a doorless/bedless truggy-type project. Not sure what direction (if any) it is going at this point. One thing is that the interior is actually in great shape and it has a clear title.

hey Tyler, nice MJ.
have you ever tried sitting in a Commanche?
there isn't a lot of room.
I am 5'9 - 180# and it is fairly snug for me.
some threads I read where they replace the bench seat with buckets,
but that puts them closer to the ceiling.
I suggest you try it out for size before investing money into it.

x2...

I'm 5' 11" and 240 and when I am wearing Carhartts it is VERY cramped. Also I have some difficulty keeping from hitting the brake when I am trying to press the clutch when I am wearing anything bigger than work boots.

Mine already has buckets, and is only 1200.......

Sorry to hear about the job situation Mike, you guys will pull through. Just remember, Obama came from IL, so he will take care of you guys first, right? :D

Sounds like you and Jim need to start a Jeep repair shop at the barn...
