beware the data speeds on straight talk.

they're a virtual carrier, so you will get throttled when the towers get busy. They also only have a few NOCS around the country, so latency is high.

We did straight talk for about 2 years and it worked fine and we were happy, but then as it got more popular the data speeds became so slow that it was useless. literally could not even get it to pull up google maps.

maybe they've upgraded for the growth since then, but be aware that they're going to be the first customers throttled when the towers get busy.

check the pre paid forums on howardforums

I misspoke earlier. our renewal is $40 a month per line, because $5 credit for setting up auto pay. I currently have 4.5GB of high speed data accumulated.

I know that, i can do some internet stuff on my phone. I have a tablet and computer.
Idk I guess I've learned that whatever "it" is can wait. I've got all my mapping stuff for wheeling on the tablet as well as my ballistics calculator for the range.

We saw Ron White, Third Eye Blind and The Stripes last weekend in KC. All within a block of each other and we spent a total of less than $70 each to see it all. It was fun, made my hotel room spin!
