I've started the search for a different cell phone. Mine is hit and miss anymore. I've had it a while and it's taken a beating to say the least. I really, really don't want to sign another contract with my provider.

Anyone got a Quad Band GSM phone laying around?

ebay

All those Iphone lovers and have to have the newest latest thing dump their perfectly good phones on ebay.

Easy there, Ramahama is more MWC than you are.
Just wondering why all us snow bound folks keep getting told it 50 where he's at, is all. I don't need to know that. I also don't need to know about peep's overheating prob's. I'd be glad if I could get my engine up to temp.

It's 50* here in Indiana. Vehicles can overheat if improperly maintained at any temp. Chill out dude, it's all in fun.

If it makes you feel any better its 40 again, but it will be up in the 60s in a couple days :D

This thread is about nothing. This thread is also about everything.

If you want it to be warmer, move south. No need to jump down someone's throat.

I guess it wouldn't be right for me to say that it's currently 65 degrees and sunny here then eh?

The first two were the wife's, but she doesn't use them anymore and the Nokia I bought but didn't like and never really used. They were Cingular phones, but should work on any GSM network that uses SIM cards.
The pink will go with my purse! How sweet!

I'll give you call later this evening.

What the eff!!!!!!! Get outta ma thread!!!!!!!

For those of you that remember I wrecked my rig. It's a total loss. It's not that bad but the the fact that the whole left side needs painted, and the computer is toast added a chunk of change to the estiment. The milage didn't help much either. Anyway I bought it back as a salvege, and now I'm trying to decide weather to put around grand (just guessing on that cost)into it to get it running as a trail rig, and buying a 3/4ton daily driver/tow rig, or to just get another one and keep the old one for parts.

Welcome from my winter wonderland!

Lar and I rode in together this AM.
I called her at noon and said it was time to go home.
a normal comute of 30 mins took us 90 mins.
There were cars stuck in the middle of the highway.
The snow was almost 2 feet deep in some spots.
I sure do like the Expy in the snow!
The weather channle has set up camp in Rockford.
We are expcting 12-16 inches of snow total.
The town 5 miles to the north was mentioned on the weather channle as recieving 16 inches so far.
It is still snowing.
There is a drift in my drive way that is four feet high.
I don't think my two stroke Toro will handle that.

I have not seen a winter storm like this in over ten years!

I'm pretty lucky. I've only got about 8 inches, on top of the sleet/slush/ice we got last night. The weather dork just said 75 is closed..... Dion is just screwed......

Well we didn't get much snow, 4-5". Rained most of the time, and it's a real wet snow. I hate wheeling in it, def like the powder better.

It is too!
I just went to my sisters house to borrow her snow plow and the police snowmobiles are out, I didn't evenr know they had such things.
There was a big tandem axle snow plow in the ditch, and a state police trooper sitting across the road.
We even have a house guest, a friend of mine from Freeport gave up trying to get home and is here for the night.
The state has pulled the plows untill morning.

It is just like new years eve, 1979

Saw what you want, but I'll always try to stick my noise in this end of the interweb, and hopefully a few fires.
