since my electrician is MIA I have a question that I'm sure many here would know the answer too...

My panel is in my garage. It has a 220 plug coming out of it but it has a male end on it. The homes' PO used it to back feed his generator into the panel. The breaker is turned off. Is there a way to change the end out to a male end and use that to plug in a welder/compressor/plasma? Is it as simple as just changing the plug and flicking the breaker on?

probably not that simple, but you could probably pull a little more wire into the panel and wire it into the breakers if you have open breakers. How big is the breaker coming from the generator?

Just took part in most expensive dinner meeting of my life, 6 peeps , 2k. Previous record was 1200 for 6 peeps. I was drinking pappy, it was yummy.

I now know I like octopus and rabbit.

What's the question (s)?

I'm going to bed for a couple hours but then up at 6 for a traffic detail...

mac 'least we can tell you to do a search' gyvr

About lifting it a couple inches. It's a 10yr old truck so I'd assume there is a tried and true method out there.

Not that's it's a biggie. I'll get around to searching eventually. I just found it funny that I got no responses.
That happen to me a while back on jeep forum. Made a build thread, got viewed a bunch and not a signal comment. That's why I give naxja the money.

Tried and true is prolly expensive. The IFS setup on the front doesn't lend itself to an easy lift. You're better off with buying a trailer to tow your Jeep.

Just get a leveling kit for the front, They are pretty cheap but be aware of angles, CV joints and ball joints. if you want more then 2.5 inches then you are looking at drop brackets on the front which are a pain in the butt. I would measure the fender gap front and rear and see how much you need...

I did a leveling kit on my duramax because it wouldn't fit in my garage with an actual lift, and I actually use my truck as a truck
