dumb tech question in important:

Does anyone know anything about the crown vic 8.8's? No i don't want to buy wheeler's vic :) They are 28 spline but they match up perfectly in width with a jk dana 30. They make 31 spline chromos for it which means you can use any 8.8 full case locker with it and it was disc brake from 91+. I'm thinking about it as an option for the wj. JK 44's are dumb expensive and crown vic/grand marquis/town cars are easy to find in jy's here...9" is the other option but it will still be more than the 8.8 in the long run. Ill have to get the flanges re-drilled to match the front...but for 33's it seems like the cheapest option that will still be plenty strong.

Not putting many photos of Elizabeth up here, but I wanted to share this one. This is a cradle I built with help from someone who actually has a wood shop. We were finally able to bring it home from my wifes parents place after letting it air out after many coats of wood oil.

Crown Vics were 4 link so you would have more BS to cut off. Find an Explorer 8.8 and all you have to deal with are leaf perches. Plus they are already 31 spline with discs. Ford LSDs are easy(ish) to rebuild and I have read that you can stuff more clutch packs in to make it tighter (giggity). You will have to get the flanges redrilled or run adapters either way.
