20" at idle. WOT is better than off idle. Still misses but has all power it should. All plugs read the same.

Reverse the thing runs fine.

Check the wiring harness where it runs along the v/c and loops around the back side. I've had the harness rub through on the back head bolt and cause a bunch of problems.

I bought my 93 with the same problem. ..ended up being a faulty plug wire.....scored the rig for $500 and fixed it for $30.

Got the heater core done in the taurus yesterday. Have to say that was a lot easier than doing it in the xj a year ago. Only took me about 2.5-3 hours to swap it out and didn't even have to remove the dash fully.

Of course i went to go start it this morning and the car wouldn't start. Either the battery is low from sitting for 3-4 weeks or it now has a battery drain on it somewhere. Guess i know what im doing in my spare time this week to get it back up and going. Really don't feel like driving the xj or the excursion all the way to chicago on friday.

I recently bought two trickle chargers that I put on my cars from time to time since they sit a lot sometimes. It has done wonders for things. The work car even gets one if I don't drive it for more than 2 days.

I am going to get two from Harbor Freight (15 a piece) to put on my motorcycle and Jeep (both in storage at in laws now since I don't use them all that often).

I did too. One for the Jeep and one for the Vette. Need to order one for the Tahoe.

don't.

they are piles that will cook batteries.
The money saved /= the money to replace batteries.
