Never fails you think you are good on welding wire with a spare roll then you run out just to remember you already used the spare roll, thats just run out. Off to Northern

HF boxes are good for home use. Easily on par with craftsman. Not great for every day shop use. I had one for a back up box for a while.

Went to go buy a new (to us) tractor today, got there and got cold feet, could not pull the trigger on it. Drove around n hour n decided against it for now....wifey wanted new living room furniture, so we spent 2 hours finding what she wanted....then she got cold feet n didn't want to spend the money.....so a whole day wasted n nothing bought but gas n lunch....but I think I am good with that seeing how the recent economy looks.

That's where we ended up..there was a cool looking set of FlexSteel reverse seamed leather couches..but not $3500 cool....Im getting too tight with money, I must be sick :D

Homemakers is basicly the onlt game in town thats not shady or highend.

That was my issue too, find something nice and it was twice my price range. Ended up with a couch/love seat from Jackson and a chair for half but theyvare not leather

Lucky that you got pizza at giordanios. When we went there in June it was a 2 hour wait for a table and 1.5 hour wait for carry out.

My fuel bill driving the jeep to and from work, from the new house is a lot more than i figured it would be. not to mention the jeep pretty much maxes out at 75 so at some points im getting passed like im sitting still. so i think its off to find a DD car... what should i get, id like something quick, fun, and kinda cheap. i know good luck right, but what would you guys look for if you were looking in the 3-4k range.

I've had a HF tool box in my garage for 10 years almost. It's the upper, middle, and lower box. Works great was affordable at the time. I've out grown it a long time ago but can't justify paying a payment for a tool box in my garage.

All of our living room furniture is free from friends or friends of friends. Four dogs, we don't buy anything.
Currently it's all leather too...but doesn't match...who cares, spend more time in the garage.

the pizza was amazing. I know why they call it a pie now. wait was about 45 mins. we went in between the lunch and dinner rush during the cubs game. I planned on getting a hotdog before leaving the city but I was way too stuffed from the pizza.

Eh new house new furniture for me.

Get a 5spd whatever for a dd if ya want 'cheap' I'd say a ZX2/4. If you can swing an import stick with Honda but stay away from Nissan or Mitsubishi anything. Or just get a boat like a lesaber or crown vic.

Eh new house new furniture for me.

I'm the same way, we just bought our current living room set <2 yrs ago, but once we got it home we did not like it, so I sold it to a buddy that just bought a house. We are preparing to start on the new house in the next year or two and making preparations now for what we want to keep or replace. The furniture we get next will transition to the new house. I still cant get my head around spending that much on a couch and loveseat....or hookers and blow for that matter. I am thinking about selling off a few acres off the south farm to help offset some of these upcoming expenses....orphan acres that do not produce are the first to go, some city hunters will snatch them up immediately.

If it were just me I would have a futon, sofa in the day, bed at night, in my shop and live in there. My wife likes to buy furniture. As long as she pays for it IDGAF. She left a very nice sofa and love seat in the basement of our old house because "I am tired of it".

Once the free couch is too trashed in the house...meaning we are given a better couch...it goes to the garage...after garage time it goes to a winterfest fire or the trash...
